CENTER UPDATES
Status of Center Closures
All West Central Missouri centers are closed at this time due to COVID-19.
We will follow the closure schedule of the public schools where your Head Start center is located. As long as the public schools are closed due to COVID-19, the Head Start centers will remain closed. The State of Missouri has announced that area schools will remain closed the rest of this school year. We will remain in ongoing contact with you, and provide any services your child or family needs until the last day of our regular program year, which is as follows:
Regular School Year Head Start: May 25, 2020
Full Year Head Start: June 8, 2020
Early Head Start: June 8, 2020
At this time, we continue to follow the State and Center for Disease Control guidance as it relates to taking precautionary actions as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Early Head Start center-based services will remain suspended until further notice. We will stay in communication supporting our enrolled families and will let you know if and when we are able to once again safely operate center-based services.
